Nooming

My journey to a more desirable weight.

All my adult life (at least after I had 5 kids!) I’ve struggled with my weight. Right now, I’m almost as heavy as I’ve ever been. And, oh, the solutions I’ve tried!

Several years ago, I had a lot of success on Keto. It worked! And then it didn’t. And the weight came right back—plus some.

Then I tried Noom. It was wonderful—but I didn’t keep it up.

So back to Keto, which didn’t work at all this time.

Back to Noom. I know, having used this method before, that I would lose weight and if I was really serious about keeping that weight off, I really needed to take those lessons to heart.

See, Noom isn’t about weight loss, really. It’s more about learning lessons to defeat your mental, emotional, physical, and social excuses to eat unhealthily.

Sometimes, life gets so hectic that we forget that the small things we do add up. Like eating those high caloric density (foods that have a lot of calories but don’t fill me up) today is fine, but not if I eat them for every meal or every time something triggers me to eat even when I’m not hungry.
